How To Use Your Android Device as Security Camera

Many of us may this information useful while others may not fancy it but for the benefit for those who need it i shall drop it.
NOTE: For Android phones only.

How To Use My Android Phone As Security Camera.

• Visit Google Play and download Athome Video Streamer or download it here.
• Click on start button and u will see a live camera view as shown below.
  
• click menu button at the upper left corner.
• open the change password and enter any username and password of your choice.
• now go back to the camera screen.
• write down the CID code which is located in the upper right corner of the screen.
• place your phone where you want it to monitor with the primary camera facing outward.                                                            

    Once your camera is set up, and you want to view it from another android or ios device, you will need to install athome camera in order to keep track for atleast 5 cameras.

•  download athome camera from google play or download it here.
• click add in the upper left corner and select by CID.
  
• enter the cid  username and password from the device you are using as camera, toggle on Remember me and save.
• click on the camera icon and save.
• click on the camera icon to connect to the remote account.
  
• select the camera you wish to view.

        At this point you will see a view from the camera you selected. Using the controls at the bottom of the screen, you can capture stills, switch between front and back cameras.
